The Georgia Self Storage Association Host Various Educational Events

Dr. George Snelling worked as a dentist in Augusta, Georgia, for over two decades before retiring in 1998. Today, he works in real estate and dedicates much of his time and resources to various civic, professional, and charitable organizations. Dr. George Snelling currently maintains membership in the Georgia Self Storage Association, an organization he previously served as board president.

In its efforts to advance the work of self-storage owners, managers, vendors, and other industry professionals, the Georgia Self Storage Association (GASSA) oversees a variety of education and training events throughout the year. Along with its Annual Conference & Expo, GASSA hosts special seminars as well as its monthly Lunch & Learn events.

Upcoming Lunch & Learns in metro Atlanta and other Georgia cities will include ask-the-expert panels and presentations on topics such as storage auctions, business marketing, lien laws, and rental agreements. While some events are free for owners and operators to attend, most are offered for a low registration fee of $30 for GASSA members and $35 for non-members.

In addition to several Lunch & Learns, GASSA will host a special seminar on legal topics related to the self-storage industry. Open to both members and non-members, the seminar will be held August 9, 2018, at Trevitt Hall in Dalton, Georgia. GASSA is also busy preparing for its 2018 Annual Conference & Expo, which will take place in October at Atlanta’s Renaissance Waverly Hotel.
